January 12, 2015 was the 5th anniversary of Haiti’s massive earthquake. In memory of that event and to continue the legacy of Yvonne Martin, EMCC reintroduced the Memorial Scholarship Fund in her name. The scholarship assists students pursuing a career in some field of Health Sciences. Presently there is 1 medical student and 3 nurses benefitting from this fund. What a blessing it has been.

Medical Student – Miss Telsie
Miss Kerlande graduated 1 year ago and has been nursing at the Clinic in Gens de Nantes.
Miss Kathleen also graduated as a Nurse and has gone on to study midwifery for 1 year.
Miss Odicia is presently in her first year of a practical nursing course.
