The Yvonne Martin Legacy

January 12, 2015 was the 5th anniversary of Haiti’s massive earthquake.  In memory of that event and to continue the legacy of Yvonne Martin, EMCC reintroduced the Memorial Scholarship Fund in her name.    The scholarship assists students pursuing a career in some field of Health Sciences.  Presently there is 1 medical student and 3 nurses benefitting from this fund.  What a blessing it has been.

Quote from Miss Telsie, the medical student,

“I received the scholarship funds that I needed to pay for the coming school year.  I am sending a big thank you very much; the funds always arrive on time.  A big thank you also to the Martin family.  And a big thanks to the EMCC.  May God, whom I serve, bless you all very much in all that you are doing.    I carry you in my heart.  Give the Martin family a big “merci” for all that they have done for me. Thank you very much!”
